Baleyssagues English language Book Club
The Association Culturelle de Baleyssagues is launching an English language book club for people interested in good, modern fiction. The usual format is members take it in turns to host and choose the novel, and the meeting should last about one and a half hours.
If you are interested, please contact me, Eileen, on e.m.harrington@icloud.com and we can come to an agreement on how, when and where to meet and what to read.
My suggestion for the first book: Absolutely and Forever by Rose Tremain or River East River West by the less well-known Aube Rey Lescure.
There is probably room for more than one book club for other genres, e.g. thrillers, Scandi N
